Address Details: The Grand Hotel, The Seafront. Torquay, Devon TQ2 6NT

The Grand is located on the Torquay seafront and is accesible by road, rail and air.

By Car: Join the A38 via the M5 and then join the A380 (Paignton, Torquay).  At the Penn Inn Roundabout, take the 2nd exit, following the A380.  At the Kingskerswell Roundabout, take the 1st exit onto the A3022 and continue towards the seafront and Torbay Road.  Upon reaching the seafront, turn right at the traffic lights, followed by the next right at the next set of traffic lights.  The Grand Hotel is in front of you and slightly to the left.  We recommend using the AA Route Planner to provide more specific directions.

Parking at the hotel:  Our garage, just past the main entrance to the hotel, has parking available.  Parking spaces are also available in the train station car park (opposite the hotel), marked with red lines.  Please note that car parking spaces are complimentary and subject to availability.  A car parking permit is required and can be obtained from Reception upon check in.  Additional spaces (without restrictions) are also available on the road immediately outside the hotel.

By Train: Torquay train station is situated just across the road from the hotel.  First Great Western provides a range of services to Torquay station.  Journeys from London Paddington take approximately 3 hours 30 minutes (and can include one change of train at Exeter or Newton Abbott); from Bristol Temple Meads, approximately 2 hours 30 minutes and from Exeter St David's, approximately 40 minutes.  We recommend that you use National Rail for enquiries and bookings.  Booking in advance - and on line - could save you upto 50%.

By Coach: National Express provides services from London Victoria Coach Station and from many other coach stations around the UK.  All coaches arrive into Torquay Coach Station. Upon arrival at the coach station, we suggest booking a taxi to The Grand.  Our local taxi company can be contacted on 01803 292 292.  Taxi fares are approximately £5.50 each way.

By Air: Our nearest and most accessible airports are Bristol Airport and Exeter International Airport.

• Exeter International Airport: FlyBe provide a range of national and international flights. Departures include flights from Manchester, Newcastle, Ireland, Scotland, France, Germany, Poland, Switzerland and Spain - amongst others. Travelling from Exeter International - Stagecoach bus service no. 56 runs from the airport to Exeter St David's station.  Platform 3 provides a service to Paignton, which stops at Torquay. Taxis are available from the airport.  Call 01395 234 100 and we do advise advance booking in order to receive a quote for the fare. Taxis to carry 1 - 8 passengers are available.

• Bristol Airport: EasyJet offer national and international flights. Departures include flights from Newcastle, Ireland, Scotland, Poland, Germany, France, Italy, Turkey and Greece.  A full range of available flights can be found on their website - www.easyjet.com

Travelling from Britsol Airport - The Bristol International Flyer coach takes passengers to either Bristol Coach Station or Bristol Temple Meads railway station.  The journey takes approximately 30 minutes.  National Express services are available from the coach station to Torquay (see 'By Coach' for details).  First Great Western services are available from Bristol Temple Meads to Torquay (see 'By Train' for details).
