The Grand has an excellent choice of function, meeting and event rooms catering from 2 to 300 people.    The fact that The Grand is also adjacent to Torquay's train station is also handy.  If travelling to Torquay by car, the hotel has ample free parking, with a number of covered parking spaces, reserved spaces in the train station forecourt and good street parking.  

There is a dedicated Meetings and Events team on hand to ensure all details are taken care of, leaving you free to concentrate on the business at hand.  With comfortable accommodation, spacious surroundings, good facilities and an AA Rosette award for food and service, you can be sure you will be well looked after at The Grand Hotel.

Food is an important feature of every conference and the key to keeping delegates feeling fresh and mentally alert.  
When it comes to lunchtime, the Grand can offer a light working lunch with delicous sandwiches made with homemade bread through to a sit down fork buffet lunch in the Gainsborough Restaurant, with fresh meats, fish, salads and hot dishes. On a nice day many delegates take the opportunity to enjoy the sea views and lunch on the terrace overlooking the outdoor pool.

The hotel is less than a 5 minute walk from Torquay's International Riviera Conference Centre, so those attending large exhibitions at the Centre are not far from a comfortable room, a delicious dinner in our restaurant and full Westcountry breakfast in the morning!
